Recently Ruggedman was in an interview, he mentioned that Naira Marley's statement isn't a reflection of the black race and his thinking is far off. He also added that the singer is just an upcoming artiste and reportedly called him and “Issa Goal” singer fraudsters, the music industry isn't supporting up and coming street artiste. He said naira Marley shouldn’t have mentioned what he said because the words mean he is celebrating cybercrime.

Naira Marley became angry concerning the statement then went on Instagram to insult Ruggedman. In his outburst, he called the rapper a 'moron' and addressed the rumour of him sleeping with 9ice's wife, which broke up their marriage.
