Manchester United chiefs have made Zinedine Zidane their top managerial target, should Jose Mourinho leave the club, reports claim.
The French footballing legend left Real Madrid at the end of last season having guided the La Liga giants to three consecutive Champions League titles.
Mourinho, meanwhile, is under severe pressure after a disastrous pre-season has seen him suffer a complete meltdown and there are concerns that this is the beginning of the end for the Portuguese.
While United are not looking to actively replace him, club officials are in no doubt that Zidane would be top of the list of new managers if Mourinho did leave, according to the Sun.
