Romelu Lukaku giving Marcus Rashford extra coaching lessons after Manchester United training

Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku has taken Marcus Rashford under his wing and is spending more than half an hour after every training session on attacking drills with the 20-year-old, Metro.co.uk understands.
Jose Mourinho launched a strong defence of his use of Rashford last week after the forward was advised to leave Old Trafford by Jamie Carragher.
Lukaku is blocking Rashford from playing in his preferred central position but the Belgian has scored four goals in five appearances for the Red Devils this term and there’s an appreciation from Rashford that he’s not yet ready to be the club’s main striker.
The Belgian is a respected member of United’s dressing room and Mourinho considers him – alongside Nemanja Matic and David De Gea – as one of his most trusted players.

Mourinho has been impressed with Lukaku’s leadership qualities and the Belgian’s been displaying that in the last fortnight by taking extra one-on-one sessions with Rashford after full training has ended.
Lukaku’s been working with Rashford on his movement, positioning and finishing in a bid to help the youngster’s development.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic was similarly influential on Rashford and the 20-year-old is spending around half an hour after every training session working with Lukaku, Metro.co.uk understands.
