Adeyeye clarified that the fish may contain the intense and fatal poisons tetrodotoxin and saxitoxin, which could cause serious disease and passing.
She said that a few organs of the fish, for example, liver and gonads (ovaries and testicles), the skin and digestion tracts normally contained the poison.

"Furthermore, we thus alarm the overall population on perils of expending PUFFER FISH," she expressed.
