Olujonwo said his choice to help the President has not made any crack among him and his dad, saying in supporting the President, he was just taking a gander at the eventual fate of Nigerian adolescents.
The more youthful Obasanjo, who talked at a media intuitive session composed by the APC Press Corps, said regardless of supporting distinctive Presidential applicants, the Obasanjo family stayed one joined together and cherishing family.
He stated: "When we get to certain point in our lives, you are in charge of the choices you take. With all due regard, my dad is my dad and will remain my dad in spite of our political contrasts. By the day's end, this decision will end. Does that stop him being my dad? It is safe to say that you are stating we can't take a seat and eat together and examine issues?
"As a country, we have to advance rationally and stopped taking a gander at governmental issues as a do or pass on or as something that isolates us. Legislative issues is intended to join us. We can differ to concur; we can have authentic contention. You see things from my perspective, I see things from your perspective and we perceive how we can cooperate.
"That is the kind of governmental issues we are attempting to advance and the message we are endeavoring to send over. We are hoping to advance certain qualities in legislative issues. That is the reason we are in governmental issues. It is imperative that we transcend religion, ethnicity and primordial slants for the enthusiasm of this country all in all.
"Legislative issues isn't a fight, it isn't war. We should prevent taking a gander at it from the stance of who is predominant. I have a belief system and an assessment, my dad has his and we are not in strife, we are as yet a family, a cherishing family with my father."
On whether his dad has attempted to impact his choice since declaring his choice to help President Buhari, he stated: "I am as an individual and as a grown-up. I am here as somebody who put stock in this Government. This Government is broadening the economy from an oil based economy and has made farming in vogue.
"Today, individuals discuss cultivating and never again take a gander at it in a corrupting way. Individuals currently take a gander at the esteem chain when you discuss cultivating. For me, it is about the effect that this administration has made. As a country, we should look past oil and conceive brand new ideas by taking a gander at different territories which is the thing that this Government has come to do.

On why he is supporting the President, he said "We trust that by advancing the belief system of Mr. President, we are likewise advancing his accomplishment. We will put the reality forward and permit the electorates choose what is best for them.
