The presidential hopeful of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar , says he respects whatever sensible estimates the Federal Government takes to put a conclusion to the unnecessary loss of lives and property in Zamfara and Katsina states, however, cautions that commanding a crisis rule in the two states can just address the side effects instead of the reason for the present security emergency confronting the North-West states.

Responding to the call by Governor Abdul – Aziz Yari for the inconvenience of a highly sensitive situation in Zamfara State, Atiku said in an announcement by his Special Assistant on Public Communication, Mr Phrank Shaibu, that a major arrangement must be looked to the emergency to guarantee enduring harmony.
