VP Yemi Osinbajo has mourned the negative impact of phony news, including that it even placed him in a bad position with his better half as of late.

Osinbajo, while talking at a BBC symposium on phoney news labelled, 'Nigeria 2019: Countering Fake News', in Abuja on Wednesday, said a blog set up an image portraying him presenting with strippers.

The Vice-President said after looking into it further of the photograph, he found that he had to be sure snapped a photo with the ladies at an amusement occasion however they were completely dressed.



He said the blogger picked a photograph of where the ladies were not completely dressed and introduced it to general society wrongly.
