Ayade denies the charge, says Owan-Eboh not a solid contender
CALABAR — The All Progressive Congress, APC, governorship competitor in Cross River State, Senator John Owan-Enoh, has blamed supporters for the decision People's Democratic Party, PDP, in the state and those of Governor, Ben Ayade of decimating his battle announcements mounted at key areas in the state.
Owan-Enoh, who made the charge, yesterday, in Calabar, called for harmony and resistance among political partners in the state to guarantee free, reasonable and dependable races in February.
Owan-Enoh likewise undermined to organize a dissent walk in the state if announcements conveying his picture are pulled down once more.
He stated: "The state government can't stand rivalry and that is the reason they are doing everything conceivable to smother restriction. The organization endeavours to act in Abuja as being neighbourly to President Muhammadu Buhari however back at home, it attempts to smother resistance and do things that are unspeakable.
"Many individuals have been asking me for what good reason I have no bulletins in Calabar especially, however, the organization can't stand seeing my announcements. When I raised my boards, the legislature pulled them down asserting I have not paid an obligatory expense of N2 million for governorship applicants which I really paid.

In the meantime, Senior Special Assistant/Chief Press Secretary to Governor Ayade, Mr Christian Ita denied the charges, saying that the senator has no business with pulling down of an announcement having a place with restriction party.
Ita stated: "The extent that I am concerned, Owan-Enoh isn't a contender to us, so we have no motivation to pull down his boards. I mean his crusade has declined to commence for various reasons, one of which is the way that APC is worn out in Cross River State.
"That can't be in the character of my supervisor, rather it is the APC competitor who is noted for viciousness. Any place he goes, he is trailed by brutality. So isn't in our character, it is he who advances savagery. It is him who moves with hooligans."
Owan-Enoh anyway guaranteed: "I had a major bulletin, and in light of the fact that the representative couldn't stand seeing it, he asked that it be pulled down. Aside from the N2 million charge on boards for governorship hopefuls, there was another extra charge of N5 million and all these are strategies against resistance since they can't stand seeing their adversaries."
Owan-Enoh said the terrorizing of any gathering would make an air of abuse and show bigotry of resistance sees in the state.
He said that the 2019 general decision would be diverse in light of the elements of the nation and the change achieved by the APC-drove government at the inside.
Owan-Enoh, who right now speaks to Cross River Central senatorial area in the National Assembly, said the 2019 decisions would be distinctly challenged.
